The difference

Actively managed.
Honestly priced.

Our quant models do the active work, expressed through low-cost passive products — and what we earn doesn't rise with how much you buy. The incentive is your outcome, not the next sale.

Active investing
15+ checks

Factor diagnostics, allocation bands and risk checks run continuously — a genuinely active, rules-based process behind every recommendation.

Passive cost
0.75% avg expense

Expressed through index funds and ETFs, kept deliberately low-cost. You keep more of what compounds.

FAQ

Straight answers to fair questions

How is TruFactor different from a regular mutual fund distributor?+

Most distribution starts from a product list. TruFactor starts from your portfolio: goals, cash flows, taxes, and risk are mapped first, then quant diagnostics and human review shape what — if anything — should change.

Do you recommend specific mutual funds?+

Yes — recommendations cover specific schemes, checked for suitability. But the portfolio plan comes first: schemes are chosen to fit it, never the other way around. No scheme recommendations are made on this page.

Is this automated investing?+

No. Models monitor your portfolio and surface what changed and what is worth reviewing. People make the final recommendation, with your full context in front of them.

What does a portfolio review include?+

Allocation versus plan, drift, concentration and overlap, factor exposure, SIPs and planned withdrawals, tax considerations, and market context — with notes on what to act on and what to leave alone.

Is TruFactor a SEBI-registered investment adviser?+

No. TruFactor operates as a Mutual Fund Distributor (AMFI Registration No. 364110), and recommendations are incidental to distribution. Reviews, projections, and model outputs are educational and illustrative — not investment advice.

How often is a portfolio reviewed?+

On a regular rhythm, plus trigger-based reviews when allocation drifts outside its band, a cash-flow event approaches, or market context changes meaningfully.

What do I need to share to get started?+

Your current holdings (a consolidated account statement works), SIPs and planned withdrawals, your goals and time horizons, and a short risk-profile conversation.

Start with a clearer process.

Bring holdings, SIPs, redemptions, tax constraints and risk profile into one review before the next mutual fund step is chosen.
